I have some questions about the regular license of WordPress theme. I purchased a WordPress theme of the Soledad brand, but I’m not clear of its regular license.

Question 1: For example, I set up a personal WordPress website, the website link is www.apple.com, and then I installed the Soledad theme on this website and then I activated it. Later I built a new subsite, the link is www.apple.com/photo, this is a subdomain name. My question is do I still can install the Soledad theme that I have purchased on this subsite? Do I need to purchase an Extended license?

Question 2: If I build more than two WordPress websites for my own, all websites used different domain names (not subdomains), do I need to purchase an Extended license?

Question 3: If I was a freelancer, and I create a WordPress website for a client and help him purchase and activate the Soledad theme. When I finished building the website, he pays me the service fee, and I will help the client manage the website, do I only need to purchase a regular license? If I finished building the website, I will give the end produce to the client, he or she will manage the website by themselves and pay me the service fee, in this situation, do I need to purchase an Extended license?

Extended license have nothing to do with multiple installations.

All licenses are 1 per website

  1. This is a grey area but it depends on the purpose/how connected the different sites are

  2. Regular is fine but you need two separate licenses

  3. 1 regular license is fine but It’s best to have clients buy their own items so that there is not any issues with support or updates going forward.
