Everytime I release a new product the first purchase is a reversal, I think is bought iwth a fake card or something and added on prite websites…

@ABX_themes Most of your items are priced between $1 and $3. Lower-priced items tend to have a higher rate of sale reversals and are more susceptible to fraudulent purchases, leading to chargebacks or refunds.

The worst thing is that payment providers help fraudsters by allowing chargebacks without police investigation.

The most likely reason for this issue is that the card used for the purchase was stolen. Unfortunately, Envato is unable to intervene in such cases, as this is an inherent risk when selling digital products. One way to mitigate this risk is to restrict access to your item using the Envato API.

Envato needs to address this issue, possibly by implementing a delay of 1-2 business days before allowing the download of an item, giving payment confirmation time to process. It’s unfortunate, but many Envato products are often found on piracy sites the same day they are released. This ongoing issue has been a long-standing problem that needs attention. It’s disappointing that more hasn’t been done to protect authors from having their hard work leaked immediately after publication.
