I get a word press failure notice when I try to upload avada theme just purchased

Where do I find some online documentation on the envato site? I just purchased Avada but when I try to upload to wordpress I get ‘wordpress failure notice’. Tried unzipping files with same result. Are there any install instructions on this site that covers troubleshooting?

“Missing stylesheet”?

If it’s that error then make sure you are installing the correct theme folder and not the entire download.

In your downloads page, click download:

  • choose “Installable WordPress Files Only” if you just want the theme folder
  • choose all files and documentation" if you want the full download, theme, documentation etc.
