I bought mintreward app but I cannot customize it

Hello,

I bought an android app " MintReward "

I contacted my developer to customize it, but he told he can just reskin it because the main jar library is encrypted.
I asked the seller he told that “We cannot expose the library that are being shared with you all customers. It will affect other customers” and He told me if I wanna customize it, It will require both app source code and backend customization with extra charge.
I found also that every time the user open the offer page there is a request send to this link

how do I know you didnt put his offers there?.
he answered :
That url is just a hit counter.

If I wanna add offerwall networks I have to pay him …
the resume is I bought a code I can just reskin it, I cannot add function like I want.
My Question is : is it ok to sell apps contain encrypted part ?

Generally, authors are not allowed to sell encrypted code, but I’m not sure about the specifics of the mobile category. I strongly advise you to contact Envato Support and ask them to take a look at your situation: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

It looks like they are also making up their own interpretation of envato’s licenses throughout the item description - definitely email support and have them take a look
