You need to keep in touch with the author and request them to assist you in priority basis. Hope they will assist you with reasonable timeframe.

As @mgscoder has replied I’m sure they will respond within a reasonable time frame. You need to remember that sometimes response times can vary depending on how many requests each author gets, or how quickly they can deal with a support issue. Anywhere between 24 and 72 hours isn’t bad.
