Hi,
When I want to upload files with filezila, the following is required:
- ftp address
- username
- password
- port
Among them, I don’t know the ftp address and password for envato.
From what I read I think the ftp address could be “ftp.marketplace.envato.com”. But I don’t understand anything about the password, I just find myself in a fog.
Can someone help me ? Please.
My file is larger than 500 Mb and smaller than 3 Gb.
Thanks
Hi @gicas2006,
Api permission for ftp:
When You will create a Personal Token can you confirm the following:
- You’ve generated a new API key here: https://build.envato.com/create-token/
- It has permissions to:
- View and search Envato sites
- View your Envato Account username
- When you log in you’re using the new API key as your password, and the username is set case sensitive
for ftp You will need to confirm the following settings:
Protocol: FTP - File Transfer Protocol
Host: ftp.marketplace.envato.com
Encryption: Use explicit FTP over TLS if available
Logon Type: Ask for password
User: <your Envato username here> (this is case-sensitive)
Password: <you will be prompted for the API key>
For Stock Footage and Motion Graphics files use Host: ftp.author.envato.com
Thanks
