How to transfer license to client?

I am a freelancer using Avada for a nonprofit client. I wanted to donate a the theme which I purchased but never used. How can I transfer ownership? This will be only for single site use, as in I am done using the theme, and will purchase another one if any of my other clients want one. What is the process freelancers should use?

You cannot actually transfer the ownership unless you transfer the account that you have purchased by
On the other hand, you could share the username/purchase code so the user could get the updates
