How to speed up Ronneby site

Hi there. I have a Ronneby site that is running slow. I had ticked a setting to smooth page load (i.e. make all items on the page load at once rather than pop up piecemeal) but now I thinking it is slowing the site down. That said, I can’t remember where the setting is located to un-tick it. Can anyone advise?

If your WordPress is only slow with the Ronneby theme, you should contact the theme author.

But if every other theme is slow as well, it might be your server that doesn’t have enough power to run your site.
