How to solve multiple h1 tags in Homepage

Bing and Google say I have multiple h1 tags on my Home page.

Also, all my blog posts seem to have changed in fonts to large and bold title-like sizes.
Please I need help on how to resolve it.

Are you interested in custom work?

Hi, it is possible that one of your plugins is conflicting. I see that you use the following:
Theme - ramble
Plugins
1 bible-verse-of-the-day
2 click-to-tweet-by-todaymade
3 contact-form-7
4 woocommerce
5 instagram-slider-widget
6 google-analytics-for-wordpress
7 addthis
8 Google Analytics

What you can do is switch off each one individually and see if it changes your style. If so then ask that developer to look into it. By looking at your plugins I think 1 or 2 could be the problem. One last question, did you add any code or changes to your CSS by any chance?

Hi Gubby,
You are correct. I messed with my CSS and it has been resolved now.
Please can I ask one more question Gubby?
What would be the best h1 tag for my Homepage;

  1. Blog Name
  2. Blog url
  3. Tagline
  4. Something else

Many thanks

Hi, sorry about the delay in answering your question. I have been out of the country and had no access to the internet. Your H1, 2,3 and 4 should include your main keyword … and is hopefully also in your url. H2, 3 and 4 should be long tailed keywords preferably. This strategy should be used through out your website if you are also trying to attract SEO juice. Your settings for permalinks in your site should be for post name (/%postname%/) so that your keywords match your url.
