How to remove .ds_store hidden file in mac?

Hi all,

I checked my theme using Theme Options and I found this error…

WARNING: .ds_store Hidden Files or Folders found.
or is it ok not to remove it?

what are the steps on removing that?

Thank you guys! I am currently using the DS store cleaner… any apps that will permanenly delete the .ds_store file? because once I create a new folder it will also create .ds_store… very annoying for me

Hi,
I am using app Tweak and Tuneup and very much satisfied with it. It’s One-Click cleaning feature cleans up my mac within minutes.
Totally loved it.

If you use Mac, use this command in terminal to zip up your theme package:

“zip -r -X theme.zip theme/”

This will remove hidden files such as .DS_Store

+1 for FolderWasher, don’t use the built in zip feature though, messes stuff up sometime.

I have use iMyMac-Cleaner to quickly delete hide files, here is detailed. Hope it can help you.
