How to learn making premium wordpress theme

Can anyone tell me and give me some advice how and where to learn how to build premium wordpress themes? Im designer and front end developer with knowledge of html/css and javascript, and also javascript frameworks. But i want to learn how to build wordpress themes. I fund out there is some software named “Underscore”, can i build themes with that? i Found this as well https://www.udemy.com/bootstrap-to-wordpress/ .Can this help me learn wp themes development?

I’m in a similar place to you. Underscores is a theme starter. It has to save you time in creating a new theme. Learn the basics of PHP and how Worpdress works.

Yes, definitely i should start with basic of php and how wordpress works, but it would be great if some wordpress theme developer author share his experience here and give us advice.
