I bought a lovely template thinking it was a theme. Any quick help to install it on my site?

Its a just a template. It is called “Arone - One Page Parallax”
That’s an HTML template so it won’t work with WP unless you recode it for that purpose which is not an easy job.

I see. And I am sure I have to pay big bucks to do that… Can it be turned into a theme by any chance?
At a quite great cost it could be converted
You would be much better off buying a WordPress theme https://themeforest.net/category/wordpress which will be between $30 and $60 ish
