How to Handle Updates with Clients

Hi,

How do you freelancers handle theme updates/big plugin updates (like that revolution slider one last year)? I buy themes on my account so with that said, the client doesn’t get those envato email notifications and such.

Is there a way I can transfer license after site is built so they can get notifications somehow? I want them to be responsible for any future theme/security plugin updates. Thanks!

This is something I raised recently- you can transfer the license to ‘use’ the theme but to get the updates you need access to the purchase account - hence why it is always better they buy ti for themselves

Ok, I see. Is it possible that if I purchased it that I send them the updated themes and / or updated plugins?
