How to embed a contact form into revolution slider?

I’ve seen a few themes that display contact forms in their sliders. Has any one figured out how to embed a contact form into a revolution slider? I don’t mind using another contact form plugin if needed to place it in the slider.

Thanks,
Steven

You add a transparent slider and add the code in a new layer

Hi!

We recommend to use some third party plugin like Contact Form 7 (https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/) and add the shortcode of that plugin into a text layer.

Please don’t forget to turn on the “Responsive Through All Levels” option for that layer. It works pretty well.

I am trying to do this and the “responsive through all layers” option is checked. I embedded simple HTML code into a layer beside a youtube video. It shows the opt in form, but does not allow me to input my data into the fields. It does allow me to submit the form though. It is just the input text fields are not taking data.

Help?

I just had this issue with a client recently after I updated to the latest version of Revolution Slider. I contacted their support directly and they were unable to help me. I reverted back to the previous version of Revolution Slider my form fields worked again. It’s a problem with their latest version.

Where do I find an older version of the slider?

Is it also possible to add short code from bootstrap to the transparent layer? Thanks

i need this too…

when i add any shortcode with

  • test

this doesnt work

I need this, too. I just tried it and it looks fine, but I can’t enter any text in the form.

Has anyone figured out how to make this work? You can get the forms to show but you can’t input on them.

It shows the form but I can’t enter the data!
Thanks.

FYI - The Layerslider slider can do it.

I think the last part of this post will help. Delete some code from s/views/view.home.js

very disappointed in Revolution Slider.
I purchased a theme because it specifically had Revolution Slider, which was supposed to work with a form in a layer … now I find this is not true.

Yes, as we wrote before. Forms do work in the Revolution Slider as other shortcodes do too.

Please ask our support staff in case you cannot make it work (see link below).

Using WordPress widget would be the best thing its more convenient and easy. I want to ask is it possible to alter the revolution slider on different pages of my website design.

Dear friends a couple of days Lawoffice buy the theme and have problems to embed the form within the Slider Revolution.
I hope your help because if you buy this theme was because it came with the form.

I want to add a search ( retreat , where, when, options ) facility on the slider
what is the best way to do this

Will Rev slider work with shortcode from “Bloom” by Elegant Themes?

Is there a way to do this w/out the form resizing to a point when it is not legible anymore?
