how to be a trending or newsletter on envatomarket ?
Trending is based on a fixed algorithm, so if you meet the criteria, you’ll have a trending item with the associated badge and icon on the item page. Nobody knows exactly what the algorithm is. Plenty of sales will pretty much guarantee you’ll be trending, but there are other things that can influence whether you have a trending item or not.
Getting featured in a newsletter is just decided by Envato staff ,as far as I’m aware (although one of the Elite perks is an email marketing campaign)… they’ll pick items based on the topic or content of the newsletter, probably based on sales, uniqueness and how relevant it is to the topic at hand.
