How many of you are using jBridge or your DAWs 32to64Bitbridge?

Just out of curiosity and because I am currently experiencing some trouble with mine, how many of you are using jBridge or your DAWs internal Bridge to use older 32bit VSTs like Miroslav Philharmonik or Synth1 with your 64bit DAW and how is that working for you?

Cheers, Basspartout

I’m using jBridge for Mac with Logic for Sylenth1 and a few other plugs and it works just fine.

I used JBridge in Sonax X1 for Miroslav, Sample tank 2 and some older synths and VSTs (most of IK Multimedia stuff) - i experienced some troubles with sync in export and some CPU overloads … so i stoped to use 32 bit plugins :frowning: I hope that Sampletank 3 will be 64 bit and i can use intruments from previous versions

I use JBridge on my Cuabse 7.5 64 Bit, most of all for the PlugIns of MusicLab (RealGuitar, RealStrat, LP). The would even porvide 64Bit versions, but they are scrap. So I run the 32Bit version over JBridge and it’s fine

I just recently started using it on my new computer actually.
It works really well, on a few of the plugins when I twist a knob the sound cuts out a bit, but that doesn’t really bother me.

jbridge on Presonus Studio One 64 bit works fine (PSP, Groove Agent, NI Futuristic and some other 32 bit I use)

I’m using some form of bridge since I have a 64-bit platform and most vst are 32-bit.
I use Reaper currently but will be converting to Cubase 7 within the next couple weeks. So whatever bridge Reaper uses, that’s what I use.
I wish I knew how to help but I am not too tech savvy with that stuff. Good luck!

Im using the internal vst bridge that comes with Cubase 7 without any problems, everything seems to work fine. I’m currently using version 7.0.6. the most stable it’s ever been in 64bit…for me at least. I will update to 7.5 when the first updates are released.

P.s. probably put the kiss of death on it now…

It did not work too good for me with Presonus studio one, But it looks as if Fx pro sound uses the same daw and it worked for him.
So I just go old school and use 32bit daw

i got jbridge when i was having problems with cubase 5’s own bridging. im now on cubase 7.5 but i havent tried the built in bridge again, im just using jbridge because i know it works

I’m using jbridge and it works fine here. Pc and Cubase7.

Thanks guys for the feedback so far.

It seems the problems I’m experiencing have nothing to do with jBridge after all.

As annoying as it might be that some pluggies dont get updated to 64bit, are there some instruments you’d say you’d have a hard time of replacing?

I for example have one pad sound from Synth1 I dont wanna ever lose, and I still love to use Miroslav Philharmonik for mixing with pad sounds etc.

What are your favourites you’d say you couldnt live without?
