How do you handle handing off a theme to a client

Hello,

I was wondering anyone has tips on how to handle the process of purchasing a license fr a theme when it relates to a client. Do you have the client sign-up for Envato themselves and purchase a license or do you you purchase a license yourselves and then pass it on to the client?

But for getting theme Author suport and to download regular update will be better if your client purcase the theme from their end(using their envato account) instead of from your account.

It’s always easier to have the client buy the item themselves.

Otherwise, even if you transfer the license, they will still never be able to download updates or get support.

With things like guest checkout now, there’s no real reason not to
