How do I request a refund of an item that I'm not satisfied with?

I googled ThemeForest refund policy which states that a refund is only eligible when I never downloaded the item. However the situation for me now is that I did download the item but it’s not up to my expectations.

Is there no way I can get a refund? I will NOT use the item.

Any idea?


If you are eligable to get a refund then you can request for refund. Can I Get A Refund is an explantion of the refund policy, requirements, process and a button linking to the refund request form.


As you have noticed, not using the item and/or not being satisfied are not valid reasons for a refund per the refund policy. This means it’s up to the discretion of the author - some will refund you, some will not.

I’d personally suggest that you contact the author through their support site or email before opening a refund request. Explain what’s wrong and see if they can help you; if they can’t then ask about a refund.
