How do you get people to rate your items?

Hi! I'm not sure in which market you hang out, but for me as a CodeCanyon author, I just ask people in need of customer support. As there's always people in need of support no matter how good the product, I make it my mission to offer stellar support, if their issue has been resolved I kindly ask my clients to leave a rating if they feel like it ( no pressure! ). In my experience this results in more reviews/ratings.
