How can I verify the validity of a license?

Thanks for the reply. I work for a hosting company, and we suspect that the software on one of the accounts is pirated. The user as provided us with a receipt and a license number for the software from CodeCanyon, but it looks quite fake to us. Since I didn’t buy the software myself I can’t login to the user’s account and download a license. Is there any way for a hosting company to verify the validity of a license?

yes. If you want to be sure that the purchase code is good for the same item, you can get in touch with the author/script vendor.

Get them to validate and link it using the envato plugin. If they won’t or can’t do that then there’s a problem
