how can i upgrade Stockholm theme?

hei, do you know how to upgrade the Stockholm theme without loosing any content in my site? I have downloaded the files but there is no auto-upgrade function neither in my wordpress control panel nor in the downloaded files…therefore I am afraid that it has to be done manualy but I am afraid that I will have to set up the site from the beginning… do you have any tips for auto-upgrade?
