How can I re-order my photo Galleries - their order

I have about 20 photo galleries on my website (Photography Theme), and want to show them in a certain order, but I don’t know how to re-order or change the order they are featured or displayed. Nothing to do with the photos inside them. Only the order the individual galleries are displayed. My website is: www.jennierichardsphotography.com - see Galleries category.

I did change the dates published - but that did nothing.

Whatever you have done now, has messed up your gallery page:

You cannot see any images (tested on Firefox and Chrome).

Your best bet is to get a designer to help you with this and sadly not me, because I don’t like using Wordpress.

It works for me on all three - but initially the load is slow.

But sort order of galleries? That was my question - can I change the order in which they display?

Yes I understand. What you could try is installing a plugin called “Simple Custom Post Order” - Order posts (posts or any custom post types) using a Drag and Drop Sortable JavaScript.

  1. Install and activate the “Simple Custom Post Order” plugin from the WordPress plugin repository.
  2. Go to “Settings” > “Simple Custom Post Order” in the WordPress admin panel.
  3. Select the custom post type you want to order from the dropdown menu.
  4. Drag and drop the posts in the desired order using the arrows next to each post.
  5. Click the “Save Order” button to save your changes.

Thank you so much for that suggestion, it worked! I downloaded the plugin, and it has re-sorted my Galleries. Much appreciated! Problem solved.
