the layout for adobe effects is not the same as the instructional video. looking for how to access edit and place holders.

You may need to purchase the item from marketplace as there may be some limitations for the “Elements” download.

Elements and marketplace are different.

If you have downloaded the item from Elements, it’s as it is.

If you have purchased the item from Marketplace, ( VideoHive ) you can contact the item author for support.

thank you for options, it seems I’ve waisted funds on Envato :woman_shrugging:t4: So I’m SOL? Do you know of similar on Elements that works?

Hi @pq01! The downloadable files for this item on VideoHive should be exactly the same as the files in this item on Elements - Video Template items are currently published to Envato Market first, and then that item is published across to Elements.

I don’t have a copy of After Effects to check the .aep file, but I can see that the item’s tutorial video mentions accessing the Edit and Image Holder folders to change the placeholder components. Can you see the file structure in the Project panel (top left corner, below the Tools panel)?
