hi for me this is cool for the first one , though , i have a little observation to do all the same … for me the name and the following text are not imbricating at all and it makes me feel this is a bit "pasted " or lacking unity so to speak … i like the style, this is clean and pro in my view, at least from what i see …
for the second one, first of all this is less original than the first one, less modern a bit too and most importantly again u have a very major issue - though it can be fixed rather easily - with color combinations and , more serious again, with contrast , which means 2 things indeed …
-1 the text is hard to read and the resume almost unuseful
2- u are violating a basic design principle
