Hey, this seems like a great upbeat pop track. I guessing the reason for rejection is more to do with the mix than the content. There is waaaay too much reverb on everything. I would strip it all off and start with a tight, dry mix and build it up from there again. Reverb is always much more effective when used subtly.
Couple of other things might be to find a better piano sound and/or humanise it a bit more- the chords are very robotic, and use lower velocities for a warmer sound. Also the synth lead is a little on the cheesy side. Maybe use something a bit more gritty. Hope that helps!
