Hard rejected - any tips for me?

Hey everyone, today I got the typical hard rejected message from ThemeForest after months of work. It is a Joomla / Virtuemart Template.

Do you have any tips for me? Is the design, the functionality or the complexity the problem or all three of them?

Maybe it is the design it look like web page from the past 3 years and your home pages is really simple.

Also, I think there is depend on the author profile - how this theme is different from this above it is also simple http://themeforest.net/item/cosmedical-health-medical-wordpress-theme/10169947?ref=ProgressionStudios ???

you need to be more creative… alignment … typography … header is very simple … you can put animations … maybe alives colors … more creative.

I am not an expert. I dont know anything about web sites but the comparison micro_design does for sure will help you a lot. by the way i did not like the cart symbol in your page. regards

The overall design has lot of things to work on.

Like the products counter - it’s not centered.
The $ sign is not vertically centered.
Lock sign - i didn’t understand what it was for.
Huge slideshow looks poorly designed.
Overall colors composition is very bad.

So you need to work on design. May be you should google for ecommerce design trends 2015.
