My fourth rejected track in a row… What Im doing wrong? What I need to improve?

There is a lot of right and some small things that i’ll point for ya. But first i need to say that i like your track in general and arrangement could be very cool if produced just a bit better. First what comes in mind is those strings, they are a bit disconnected from the rest of the track, different library or parallel compression probably could solve that. Bridge/Outro parts for me is a bit abrupt, try to shorten it and make more constant, i see that you tried to bring that background guitar which is sound nice, but maybe is too quiet and can’t make a trick for commercial stuff. Other than that i dunno, nothing THAT crucial. And last thing, did you use a reference track for that? Compare freq and check general loudness from your and reference track, probably this could help you one way or another. Check it out “youtu(dot)be/1XNPJqQ_4NM”. You can do that with other EQs. Anyway Lucks on ya!
