Hard Reject on item update.

How is it possible to hard reject an item update for reasons of market saturation while we had been selling the same item for the past 4-6 months without any problems and when we uploaded an item upgrade we received a “HARD REJECT” for market saturation reasons and our item was removed from codecanyon even though it was trending and selling well. Does this mean we don’t have to update our apps? This does not make any sense to me. Can someone please explain, anybody experienced such?

Quick update, contacted support and my item was restored and now available on the marketplace.
