People are fickle when it comes to logos. Can take considerable discussion with the client to find what they want, because most people really do not know what they want. Although they do know what they don’t want most of the time.
My first impression of your design was that it was a snail. Snails are not the most likable creatures. Slow and slimy.
Without knowing what the clients want and what you were trying to portray it’s hard to say why this got rejected.
