Too many similar items already at the marketplace as well it’s 2025 now, the design is out-dated.

Isn’t it much better than the projects approved in the last 2-3 months, beeko? What do you mean by out-dated design? Designs don’t have to be trendy, this is a big market and customers have very different demands. Most of the templates are similar anyway, I guess you didn’t find any problems in terms of technical or design rules.

I understand your point. Even though so far you were lucky with the uploads, most of the authors getting rejected because of the “similar” items, it seems you were able to manage to get approval for your recent projects so far.
Believe me, if I uploaded it exactly the same, I would’ve gotten rejection - this is most likely the reviewer has the right to accept or not, even though projects are similar. But I guess you’re already crossed their minimum limit, either they are expecting something better from you or they draw the border.
If you keep getting “rejection” after this point, don’t be surprised. It happened to me at CodeCanyon, even though I have uploaded way better projects, they didn’t even bother to check the demo. ( no visit at the time )
We don’t want to waste time on uncertainties, I think we will try other markets for such a process even though we follow the rules. It was a great disappointment to be exposed to these situations knowing that there was no problem with the general design and technical competence. We used to get help from the support team in similar situations, now we are forming the opinion that the support team does not spend much time either.
It’s “higher requirements” but no one knows what those are. It was depending on your luck so you’re out of it now. Some says, it depends on the reviewers day, if he’s having a good day, you may be lucky, if he’s having bad day, it’s a rejection without even checking the theme or demo.

I can’t accept the possibility of being at the mercy of other people’s emotional states, and from what I’ve seen, the activity on the forums has reached a point of exhaustion.
It has. I don’t even try to upload any work to ThemeForest for over a year now since my three HTML template got “soft-rejected” followed by “hard” one. Waste of time for something that doesn’t sell anymore.
