Gutenberg Compatability

Interested in purchasing a ThemeForest Theme. Theme is not compatible with Gutenberg, will this create issues going forward.

Take a look if the theme is compatible with WordPress 5.0.x - if yes, all should be fine.

And also, there is a attribute ā€œGutenberg Optimizedā€ not ā€œGutenberg Compatibleā€ - in other words all themes must work with latest WordPress.

But, just in case, you can contact the author and to ask if the theme will work on WordPress 5.
