Getting a refund for the plugin purchased


I purchased WooCommerce Extra Product Options with the hope of controlling variations on the website with dynamic attributes. However, the author confirmed that the product cannot be used in the way I wanted. I asked the author for a refund and author mentioned I should contact envato to get a refund. Wondering whether it is possible for me to get a refund as I won’t be using this plugin.
