I really like the garda theme for wordpress here…
but unfortunately mostly something in the themes that we can download here, is not working.
in this theme I got the problem that the demo content import is not working.
Since support is not part of our subscription, I was wondering if there is any other way to get help…
Items from elements do not come with technical support. But if you purchased the theme from themeforest then you will get 6 month included support from the theme author:

Well, as mentioned, I know that I dont have support.
But, I think its a pitty if the items are not working…

To be clear the 12 months is only an option to buy if you are first buying the theme itself. It can’t be purchased on its own

What happens/ what’s the issue when you try to import demo content?
More often than not these issues are due to the hosting rather than the theme.
Not all elements themes come with demo content so that could also be an issue?
Purely out of curiosity - if it’s a theme you like a want to make use of, is using a subscription with no updates or support a little short sighted?
As opposed to Purchasing lifetime updates and 6 months support?
well, it has demo content and especially an option for that. I hit the button and it say “download” but nothing happens. waited for hours..
All necessary plugins activated first?
Presumably it just times out or just stays on the loading screen?
It does feel more hosting related than the theme. You could try clearing your Cache and trying again esp from a different browser

yeah, it just stays there. nothing happens, no timeout. and yes, all activated like the wizard explained.
I already tried another browser, another notebook and checked server settings rgd php, execution time etc.
There’s definitely no content xml in the download so you could do it manually?
I don’t think you couldn’t ask the question in item comments on themeforest and just confirm demo is included in the elements download - that’s not asking for support, just clarification
