Gallery for Custom Post Type (Portfolio)

Hi there,

I want to build a portfolio theme and need a gallery within the custom post type (portfolio), so the user can add images. What is the best solution to add an option to add multiple images (gallery) to a custom post type like portfolio?

  • Can I use plugins like CMB2 to create such a custom field?
  • Do I need to create a custom plugin for the gallery functionality?

yu can use any carousel plugin which will support custom post type to make this image gallery. Also you can check your theme if your theme included visual composer then may be you can do this by using visual composer post carousel option. Thanks
