Hi. I downloaded Wordpress/Elememtor Pro theme called Kimono by BZOTech.
I’ve installed, started setting up, and added elements, and before I start uploading the products, etc., I thought I would see what they look like live.
When I published it, it displayed the icons “Demo” & " Buy Now". I downloaded the full license and can still access the license code. Is there a setting where I must copy the license code to activate them, or am I missing something that will turn off those demo modes?
I would appreciate it if anyone could help, as BZO Tech doesn’t even look at the issue unless I purchase their support service.
I assume the theme is from Elements. As the author stated, if you need support, you’d need to purchase a copy from ThemeForest/CodeCanyon, otherwise, noone here would be able to help you for free.
Dear friend, I understand your concerns, but I’d like to share some perspective from the author’s point of view. When you download something from Elements, the author might earn as little as a dollar—or sometimes nothing at all. Expecting them to provide free support for a product that cost them time, effort, and resources to develop can be quite disheartening.
If you truly wish to support the author, consider purchasing their work directly from Envato Market. Keep in mind that the price you see on Envato Market is often less than 5% of what it would cost to develop a similar theme on your own. Despite this, the author still offers item support as part of the package. Your support means a lot and helps ensure the continued creation of quality products.
Thank you for your reply. When I pay 30$ per months subscription to download themes, I assumed I was paying for the license. When it says demo, I wanted to know if I had rights to use them without “Demo” displayed on the website.
I didn’t realise that I wasn’t paying for the rights to the point I cant get the answer to see if my license has rights or not, even though the license states that I can. If this is the case I will cancel the subscription cos there is absolutely no point in paying for them.
If you’re planning to purchase a code or theme, I recommend buying directly from Envato Market instead of Elements. This way, you receive support and also directly support the author.
