Scroll down the page a little - you can choose to add single instruments instead of the bulk pack. The bulk pack is just provided for convenience.
EDIT: - Sorry, misunderstood your post. But…
“Continuata” is the same download manager that 8Dio uses (and I believe SoundIron, but I could be mistaken). You have the option of downloading the files directly instead of allowing Continuata to “install” them. I’ve used it on dozens of things - it’s harmless…
