@font-face not working in Firefox - ttf font

#1

Hey all,

I only just realised that the custom css @font-face on my site isn’t working in Firefox 3 or Firefox 4beta. You’ll see the menu falls down to two lines http://dtbaker.com.au

@font-face {
    font-family: "LightCompressed";
	src: url("/new/font/helvetica47lc.eot");
	src: url('/new/font/helvetica47lc.ttf') format('truetype');
}

Seems to work just fine in Chrome.

I’ve tried various combinations of font - still nothing.

@font-face {  font-family: "LightCompressed"; src: url('/new/font/helvetica47lc.ttf'); }

so it’s either my computer, this particular font or firefox?

ttf file: http://dtbaker.com.au/new/font/helvetica47lc.ttf

Any suggestions?

I might just pick a google font to use.

cheers! looked promising but still no go in firefox 3.6 or 4. meh.

must be that font.

I found this web font tutorial the other day and it seemed to do the trick.

Maybe it is because of the same origin policy

I think only FF handles this corrrectly so this could be a reason

Be sure you have this line in your .htaccess file:

Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"

Remember the svg file for support for mobile devices.

I fixed it just buy editing your CSS through the browser pointing it to a converted WOFF file of that font… so it may be access problems like the others have stated.
