First time author, hard rejected but looking to improve. Looking for community feedback!

Hi Everyone, I’m an aspiring WordPress theme author. My first submission was hard rejected with the following message: …unfortunately we found it isn’t at the quality standard required to move forward, and you won’t be able to re-submit this item again.

Mainly because of design… colors & typography
Dark gray background on body doesn’t really look good, and dark blue main color is “too dark” (imo) :slight_smile:
Homepage looks unfinished, there are only 4 posts , a slider and a map, but could be much more
Theme just looks a bit unfinished (or at least demo)… Yet it is a pretty good start,
