Finding audio track from preview file

Hey guys,

I’m almost despairing here. I downloaded a track as a preview a few days ago and now I can’t find it anywhere on envato. How the hell do you search for it? Neither the meta data nor the file name itself will help me find it. What kind of concept is this? Can someone help me with the search? And perhaps tell me the best way to go about it?

This is the track I’m searching for:

local file name: »F8YR9AK-advert.mp3«

What a cool track! I’ve been browsing quite a bit myself but couldn’t find it either.
Keywords tried: Jazz, Cool, Modern, Brass, Advertising and tried clicking the vocal samples checkbox. I also tried using the duration filter but no luck either.

By any chance, do you have the original preview file you downloaded? Normally those include a numeric identifier that could solve your quest in a second. :slight_smile:

Hope you can find it, it’s worth it.

Hi there,
I just used Shazam to identify the track and it looks like that artist name is Glow City and track name is “Shoping”, but I don’t know if it is still available on envato. Here is the link to youtube;

Hope it helps

Yep, I still have the original preview file and also thought that it would be easy to find the track with the number in its filename but no luck either. I also wrote the filename in my question above :wink:

ok, i never thought you could find it with shazam but very cool! Thank you, that helps. I’m just really afraid that the track just stopped being available on envato a few days ago :confused: I’ll keep searching a bit more…

If someone still finds it, I’m all ears :wink:

That’s odd. The naming of your file looks nothing like the previews downloaded from Envato… It should look like this:

41957615_cool-jazz-hip-hop_by_krazy-dragon_preview

The number being the code that allows you to type it in and find the track easily.

It’s weird it does have the AJ watermark. Good luck with the search!

The number in the file name is correct. I also have others here that look the same, but can be found via it. It’s obviously a bit different from author to author :wink: I wrote to the author on Instagram (his account was on YouTube :D) and he actually just deleted the song. Absolutely blatant coincidence that this happened to the track I sent with the preview for customer approval, but that’s how it is now. The good thing is, he re-uploaded it yesterday and sent me the new link today after it was approved by envato :smiley:
