Featured image thumbnails are dark on Mobile X page

When viewing categories on mobile, with Mobile X implemented, the featured image thumbnails appear dark. These same images appear normal when viewed in PC mode and when switching from Mobile X to responsive mode. Any suggestions? Thanks
