Extraction of an Item is not allowed from the End Product. How do we ensure it?

Hi.

One of the Terms of Envato says - “You must not permit an end user to extract an Item and use it separately from the End Product created using that Item.”

How does this work practically? If we post a video on Social Media (and the video has an Envato Item), then how do we prohibit a user from using the “Item” separately?

Request your assistance.

Thanks in advance.

I don’t think that is what that means.

It refers to people being able to extract the envato element from the source and re use it. e.g. removing an image from a PSD file and using it elsewhere

Thanks for the quick response.

I get your point and what you say seems correct to me but this is exactly what the T&C states.

So, if I am a subscriber, it will apply to me, and I will have to NOT permit an end user to extract an Item and use it separately from the End Product created using that Item. Very confusing because as a subscriber, it seems implausible to me to ensure it.

Could you kindly confirm somehow as to what the term actually wants to state?

Your best option is to ask support Envato Elements Help and Support

My interpretation (not official) would be that you do not share any source files enabling users to extract or repurpose elements e.g. share an image but not the PSD, or share a video and not the AE / Premiere file etc.
