Go into js_composer/composer/shortcode_templates and take a look at the shortcode outputs.

You may also want to go into js_composer/config/map.php to see how they’ve been mapped.

There probably isn’t a step-by-step tutorial on how to do this, but that is the files you will need to take a look at.

@Jaynesh thanks for the answer!

Currently I don’t need an output but how they’ve been mapped. I’am looking in js_composer/config/map.php now as you have said but still no luck, for example I have copied accordion block code from js_composer/config/map.php to my functions.php but the admin element is still looks default:

Any chance you can look at?

Within the documentation online, search for vc_map()

That is the shortcode mapping for the visual composer

Hi

I try to change the output class of vc elements, for example: the class that “Messagebox” element is outputting is "wpb_alert wpb_content_element wpb_alert-info"

Is there any way to change this classes except from making a new one?

Thanks

hi. i have not. i contacted support. i need to be able to add my shortcodes to the front-end. so far i don’t see any way to do this without adding code to the backbone code the plugin uses to deal with all the front end stuff.

If you check the online documentation you can see a function called vc_map which will create shortcode mapping and then you just need to create shortcodes.

There is no reason to touch the actual plugin itself

Go on his support site, Michael is helpful and will assist you in most things.
