My client requires a wordpress plugin to take an excel spreadsheet with 3 columns for:
and incorporate it into a search page. The user needs to be able to search for the Vehicle registration ONLY and the said vehicles details need to populate the screen.
I have seen various plugins however all donot have the search function that i require for my client…
Please advise if anyone can help and at what rate…

Can datatables acheive this… Not sure on importing data from excel, but it can export.
Easy to setup, but not sure on Turdpress plugin

use that plugin to create a “Custom Post Type” of Vehicle.
you should get a new “Vehicle” menu on the left. Click “Add New” and in the “Title” at the top put the vehicle registration. In the post content box put the vehicle description. Use the standard WordPress comments feature for comments.
You should then be able to perform a WordPress search and it will bring the results back from that custom post type.
Then you could try to use this plugin, which supports importing data from a CSV file into a Custom Post Type: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-ultimate-csv-importer/
Not a “click and go” solution, but if you don’t mind trying it yourself it may just work.

I found this which does what i desire to an extent…
However it still lists all items for search… Client wants the other fields hidden accordingly and only be searchable for the vehicle registration column…
