Estimated Dispatch for WooCommerce

I’m currently looking for a plugin for WooCommerce that will show an estimated dispatch/delivery date on each product page, preferably just below the price.

This would work based on each product having a set turnaround time, which is then calculated based on working days and other holidays. So for example:

  1. Product has a turnaround of 4 working days.
  2. If ordered on a Wednesday before 3pm, it would be dispatched on the following Monday
  3. If ordered on a Wednesday after 3pm, it would be dispatched on the following Tuesday
  4. In case of a national holiday (such as a bank holiday in the UK), an extra day is added to the date

The way I’d see the back end working, is that for each product, there would be an additional option somewhere on the product page to add the number of working days for turnaround. There would also be some sort of calendar to add in any additional national holidays etc.

It would also be an advantage if there could be a countdown similar to that on Amazon - “Order within x minutes/hours to receive your order on dd/mm/yyyy”

If anyone could do this, please feel free to drop me an email via my profile with a quote, or if anyone is developing something similar anyway - let me know!

I found this on elance : https://www.elance.com/j/woocommerce-estimated-delivery/46270490/
keep me posted if you come up with anything

Thanks for your help! I’ve checked it out and it is getting there in terms of the functionality I want. If only he’d included a way to exclude weekends, it would have been perfect!

Hopefully someone is working on a script like this on CC or will develop one for a more reasonable price!

What do you consider “reasonable”?

It would depend on a few things actually. If it was something they were going to stick on Code Canyon straight after for $15, then I wouldn’t want to pay much. But on the other hand, if it was something I could sell on to recoup my investment, then I don’t mind paying a fair price. Feel free to message me with an offer if this is something you’re interested in.

On a personal note, I know how unrealistic budgets can be for graphic design so can only assume it’s the same for developers, so I’m certainly not expecting it for $15.
