Envato's 2016 roadmap

Thanks for all the positive comments everyone!

And sorry this roadmap came in July!! It’s actually covering things that will run well into 2017

@Firsh - I was thinking about something similar when Apple released their recent push on subscriptions on the App Store pricing systems. I’m not quite sure how it could work without the controls to keep the product live (or switch it off when the user cancels). In which case the subscription would be all around rights of use and updates (which could be fine, just not as strong). I suppose the ultimate version would be a CodeCanyon SaaS marketplace, whatever that would look like! Anyhow thanks for the suggestion.

We’re not on the stock exchange / publicly traded, but if that ever changes the community will definitely hear about it!

@crelegant - you’re 100% right that we need to do (and are doing) more around review. In retrospect I didn’t pay nearly enough attention to a lot of warning signs that we were having capacity problems. But we’re on it, and pushing hard.

@wplab - sorry you had a bad support experience, we’ve been working on that for a while now and from a step back it looks like it’s going well. Ping me if you have some more details of a bad experience you’ve run into. New items review time is definitely something we’re working on. And item ratings, with our recent shared refunds there’s been some improvements for author controls around ratings.

Thanks all!
