Hey All, especially for the Envato Team

Please make these questions your concern. I knew that this plugin had not been updated for a long time, and now it has not been updated for more more than 8 months and has not been tested yet with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress

It is a problem for some buyers who are concerned with vulnerability and security. They don’t wan to install it because they are afraid of its security and they ask for a refund

So,

  1. What’s your recommendation to educate them?
  2. Why you don’t regularly update the plugin, to make the notice that “This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.” doesn’t appear

Hi there,
Make sure you are using the official Envato Elements plugin. Customers are instructed to use that plugin exclusively in item descriptions and official documentation.

We are talking about your Envato plugin so we mentioned the official plugin by you. Correct us if we are wrong, is the Template Kit Import plugin developed by your team? From the beginning we always recommend it to our buyer who buy the itme from the market

But we often see your plugin expired and a notification appears saying it has not been tested for the last few versions of WordPress, and this is what the Buyers wonder
