Envato Studio and Twenty20 to close

Take your time. Probably it will be sent within few weeks.

@BenLeong
Are we going to get paid for the earnings that has been already updated on our accounts by the end of the month, as usual next month at 7th? This is also not clear

Does anybody know any other platform like Envato Studio? Something like offering express service. Thanks

There are literally thousands of WP devs offering this service via their own website or through all of the big established freelance marketplaces

I think EnvatoStudio was the best because these sites are unfortunately very cluttered. Since you are a graphics designer I would recommend using Behance to find freelance jobs.

I’m not sure if this link works or not: Behance

Thanks @charlie4282 and @TiborMiklos

I will write again, i know many of us are very concerned as Envato Studio is the main source of income, and changing that will be a very challenging part. So i believe the fair thing for all ou is to leave the platform like it is(like the catalog with all reviews and ratings) for at least 2-3 months more

but without payments, orders, disputes, support, sharing files, etc, anything that cost resources, which I believe is the main part of closing.

We need only a “message option” for us( service providers) and EXISTING clients(no need for new) to have the option to deal with working outside with Desclimer that Envato has no responsibility etc.

Or just existing clients to be abble to find our details if they decide to come back to us when all will be closed.

Many clients didn’t know that Envato Studio is closing as they go and come after time.

Also, we will have more time to show our profiles with all reviews and reputations to other places like prove our experience.

That would be great, but I highly doubt they will do that. Everything costs money even if all other features are turned off.

What you can do is communicate with your returning clients by using Gmail/skype/Discord and you can use Paypal for the payment part.

Paypal has a feature called “Payment Request”. It allows you to send custom money requests with messages. It’s like a custom job proposal. Your client doesn’t need to have a Paypal account to pay your request. Paypal takes a few % from the payment + it automatically generates an invoice.

It is also efficient because your client can’t charge back the money after you have sent them the finished project.

It’s easy to agree that, casino can be a generator of a money for living. According to candid reviews minimum deposit online casino Canada has been standing up for quite a long time. I couldn’t believe that I can make money with fun. Also, it’s unbelievable that I don’t have to work for the whole day to have enough money.

Thanks to Chris, I have got my “Studio Employment Letter” but this is also another disappointment.

First of all, the letter itself is a summary of the “profile page”. Anyone who could use at web.archive.org may get better results.
Secondly, there’s no QR code that the document can be verified. Someone could simple change the names and claim they were one of the providers.
Thirdly, at last, I don’t think this letter would help anyone to get any “official” job as the letter itself states that Envato is basically saying “they were using out platform”, no need to mention that the letter itself has been written too informal.

What you called to the letter “Employment” and what’s inside is not consistent as well. You should call it “Studio Providers : Summary of their services”

Yes, I agree with you…

This couldn’t have come at the worst time, may God help us all

I feel like crying, whats next ?

They could combine it with a LinkedIn verification. Like they could create a verified group on LinkedIn and service providers could join and use it as another proof of employment.
Service Providers could showcase this group on their profile so their visitors/future clients could see that they have worked there from 2014-2022.

It sounds more logical and legit, because if it’s an invite based then no one can create a fake Studio Employment Letter. It would be extra work for them + the support though.

Good idea. I also thought in something similar, they could offer a “proof badge” stating the years as service provider at studio to be added on LinkedIn. For the group, I think we could manage this (I also created one there and call some people from this thread, didn’t get very much response though). The acceptance for the group would be the studio profile link (or the web archive version one when it goes off).

There’re lots of things can be done but I already lost my hope from Envato.

It’s pointless to start another freelancer service somewhere else as most of the “providers” have been there years with thousands of good review. If it was me, I wouldn’t start working with a new provider when there’re lots of reviews that I can count on from.

The letter itself is a joke

I was browsing the ‘Done’ tab of my Studio profile yesterday. I found that I can’t send a message on the finalized jobs and I can’t view the client profile. I saw many repeat clients there whom I can’t contact or just send a message about my contact info. It will be better if we can Contact all the clients we have worked for.

@BenLeong Envato can open the finalized jobs timeline, so we can at least place a message about our contact info after the studio shut down.

I got 2 inquiries from 2 clients last week. They asked my contact address as the studio is shutting down. I am afraid, there are lots of repeat clients on my done list. Many of them didn’t understand Envato Studio very well and how all works.

Thanks

I’m sad and disappointed too about the closure, but we can’t do too much. I even had a client reach out to me and asked about the closure. He said it was a great site.

I think every Envatostudio user including old/new/repeat clients has already received an email about the closure. Try the ‘Enquiries / Proposals’ to send messages to your clients.

How can I use inquiry/proposal to send messages to my clients? Clients can send me inquiries but I can’t
