Last some months, I saw that most of the time codecanyon authors are submitting addons only, which is a big issue to decrease sales when a buyer visits the page Almost all products are addons. When a standalone product is approved, the items go down. Envato reviewer should take control of it.
I don’t think we need to worry about that. In fact, it does not matter whether there are new addons or just new products, the traffic is already at zero )))))
Exactly as @Avirtum stated. It doesn’t matter if the item stays on the first page for a week, still the unique visits would be around ~200
@TheDevStation The screenshot you shared appears to show PHP scripts sorted by date, but most buyers usually search directly or explore the PHP Scripts category to find what they need. Since add-ons have their own category on CodeCanyon, this setup probably isn’t the main factor affecting sales or traffic.
Some things that could be influencing sales are the prominent Elements banners promoting unlimited downloads, which show up in almost every corner—even below the “Add to Cart” button on mobile. Also, limited payment options might be making it harder for some users to complete purchases.
