Envato not letting me become an author?

I just recently became an Envato account user, with the intention of selling music on AudioJungle. However when I click on “Become an Author”, or any other link that takes me to the " Let’s get started!" page, at (https://author.envato.com/join). I am unable to become an author. I get all the way to what I believe is the last screen and there is a big green button that says “Take me to my dashboard”, I click it and it takes me back exacly where I started, but without actually becoming an author. I am still only able to browse the website just as I was before, but am unable to upload or do anything that an Author is able to do. I have tried this multiple times on multiple devices, it still does not work. Is this a bug or???

Sorry for the inconvenience. There is indeed a bug causing this, and there’s a dev team working on it right now. We have a status entry for this issue which you can monitor at https://status.envato.com/.
