Envato’s Birthday is rapidly approaching. This year, as part of the celebrations our team is going to run a big, BIG marketing campaign.
Just how big? 100 items?

In fact, this campaign will be so big that based on the reach of our marketing channels, we’re estimating it will get in front of over 
ONE MILLION CUSTOMERS.
We’d love you to nominate your files for our campaign:
What we’re looking for:
We’re on the hunt for 60 items from each marketplace. The items will be reduced to to 50% of their standard price for the duration of this campaign (August 22nd - August 28th).
We’re looking for items in the following categories:
- Weddings
- Corporate
- Travel
- Portfolio/ Creative
- e-commerce
- Real estate
- Food
- Fashion
- Blog
- Construction
The process:
Step one: Nominate your items by the 1st of August 2017 (AEST).

2. Additionally, please upload a picture of the file below and add a link to your item.
Note: We’re only accepting a maximum of two items per author; so choose wisely and put your best content forward!
You must be the author of any items you nominate By nominating for this promotion, you are choosing to set your price to 50% of its Original Price, for the specified six day period. The included buyer fee will not change. Note that we define the “original price” as the price the item has been set at for the past 30 days in the lead up to the campaign.

Step 2: Our content specialists select the items
Our Envato Quality specialists will select the files based on the quality of the nominations. They will be beginning the selection process the 1st of August (AEST), to try and get your items nominated by then!
If your items are selected for the promotion we’ll send you an email. If you weren’t selected, don’t worry too much! We still anticipate an increase in traffic to the marketplaces for the duration of the campaign. You can still participate in the discounting on your own terms if you’re in an ADP category
Step 3: The Campaign goes live.
If selected, your discounted item will be promoted with the discount based on the price of your item for the six-day promotion period: 22nd of August to the 28th of August (AEST).
We’ll be promoting it through the following channels:
- To our engaged list of email subscribers.
- Through our social media networks.
- On our Envato Platform
- Through External marketing channels
- Through the Envato blog.
We’ll automatically apply the 50% discount to the selected files just before the campaign goes live. You may want to leave a discount in place after the promotion or to manually return the price to its original level or a different price altogether. It’s entirely up to you
Step 4: Throughout the Campaign
We’ll be periodically reviewing the page to make sure we’re promoting the best deals for customers. Items which don’t meet the promotional criteria will be removed from the promotion (but of course, will remain for sale on Envato market). We also reserve the right to add or subtract items for any reason.
Criteria for selection
You must be the author of the files you’re submitting
The files must have at least 10 sales each
The files should relate to the categories we’ve listed above in this post
The item must have been listed at a consistent price for the 30 days leading up to the promotion period (which means you can legitimately say that your promotional price is at a 50% discount).
From our lawyers:
We retain sole discretion over the files we promote, and we may change the content and format of the promotion (including which files are promoted) during the promotion in order to ensure it remains fresh and generally irresistible to recipients.
What if I want to withdraw my nomination?
No problem. If you change your mind after nominating, simply flag your comment and let us know that you want to withdraw your item from consideration.
